the day before saturday

Fantastically amazing day in the city of Spoklahoma yesterday. Clever name for Spokane, eh? Stole that from one of my favorite radio channels, 94.5.  

So many different things to do! 7 am: Leave with Nick, set off for the city.  

8 am: Prepare the FINAL PAPER of my freshman year at SCC.   

 8:30 am: Take the FINAL TEST of my freshman year at SCC.  

9:30 am: DONE with the test, and off shopping for a present for Nick's dad.

Happy Birthday today, Patrick! :)  

10:30 am: Go on a hunt for a gun cabinet for Patrick...:) That was fun.

And hunted around at a tiny yardsale, to pass the time. 

1 pm: Lunch at Wingers, (the vegetarian rice bowl is my favorite...ugh..I'm

kinda hungry just thinking about it now...).  Mmmmmmm.

3 pm: Shopping in Walmart. Various goodies and groceries like mouthwash, gum, Carmex, black bikini bottoms, ($7.50!? YES! DEAL!)

4:30 pm: Set off for home.

5:30 pm: Home and start making dinner while Nick changes a tire. Totally surprise crack in the sidewall. Did I know tires had walls? Well..I do now.

7:30 pm: Make cupcakes! Happy Birthday to my Uncle Mike and Grandpa tomorrow!

8:30 pm: Head over to a friends' house to start a movie. Shutter Island; Leonardo DiCaprio was incredible...shockingly incredible. Loved it!

10:15 pm: Head home without finishing the movie. Gotta beat curfew! :)

Pretty big day...but had tons of fun. The City, (and NOT referring to the TV show...), is amazing. Things change, people change, but it seems that the city never really looses its charm. I can't wait to take some shots of the local architecture soon. Very soon!
