I'm presently in deep deep loooove with this combination. Black heels, sequin skirt, moustache shirt from boyf's closet.  Sequins...the perfect thing to brighten a rainy, dreary, and basically pretty gross-weather day.

I am in loooove with life itself right now; seriously amazing day...amazing amazing. It all started off with a random trip to Panda Express. (Hmm..I've never started a story off this way, here's a first)...   

Anyway, after a delicious bowl of steamed rice and veggies, I crack open my fortune cookie to read something along the lines of: "Something thrilling is soon coming your way."  Sounds trippy, right? That's what I thought.

Then BAM! I find the most stunning, incredible, shiny, laquered ring in a Ross right across the street from Panda.  A GUESS double-G ring for $1.99!  I was pretty damn excited, as you can tell. I love the fact that someday my daughter will wear this and be proud that her dear ol' crazy mum found it for less than a spring roll.  A mah-jor moment.

Also, I had my first piece of candy corn for the Fall Season. Truly, a historic moment I take note of every year. :)  Gonna make some of my specialty candy corn brownies soon! (And candy corn rice krispie treats...and probably some homemade candy corn frozen yogurt, and definately peanut-butter thumbprint cookies with candy corn on top).

mmm...cinnamon-caramel french toast

I love making breakfast. Well...okay...I like making breakfast for other people. Especially boyf - he's an appreciator of alllll types of breakfast food. (Even the flavors with which I find amusement in experimentation.....he'll even take a bit if it's just plain burned).   Today was a combination of the two; new flavors added to an old recipe AND it was burned. Love you babe...you have a strong palate. :)

I just took regular, plain-old cinnamon swirl bread from the grocery store and french toast-ed it. The eggie-milkie mixture and all. After cookin, smeeear on some caramel and top each piece with sliced bananas. Mmmmm...a whole tower of cinnamony-banana-caramely-toasty goodness. '

It was damn fine.

School started, cheer is 'kicking' into gear, (ha - get that?!), so boyf and I haven't gotten to hang out in a whiles.  So BREKKIE has been our time to catch up and hang out. And sit back while I watch Dallas Cowboy Cheer vids on YouTube. You're the best, Nick, the absolute best.

I totall look like a spaz-off when I cook....

I was shuffling through Bazaar.com's favorite looks, straight from the runway.  I'm so totally inspired and in LOVE with how they phrased DKNY's new line: NYC meets Paris, in the best of ways.

It's always interesting to see which pictures look best in black and white, and which seem to really shine in color.  LOVED the spread of Kim Kardashian in this month's Allure mag. Seriously...I'm addicted to her show and in love with her style.
