Feels good to loose the too-long, overgrown fringe. Now, a freshly chopped freshie fringe!  They sometimes poke me in the eye...rather uncomfortable...but it will be worth it!

I'm sooo in love with this floral skirt, it's just about as thick as a sweatshirt, so it's surprisingly warm.

Today was simply epic....just simply an epically amazing experience that will continue to resonate in my mind forever. (And man, do I love blogging...how else could I get away with a wacked sentance like that one?)  Anyways...went to the Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration in my home city...and lemme' tell you....it was incredible.  A local pastor recited the everlasting "I Have a Dream" speech.....he was so passionate, tears were brought to his eyes. Everyone there, (around 500-700 people), marched through downtown...together.

Sorry about all the awkward back-end shots...today was just one of those days that I was rarin' to go, always moving an annoying 5-ish steps ahead of my camera man. He does an INCRED job. Thaaaanks bay-bee..I'll buy you some of those toaster Eggos as a thank you.  Mmm....Eggos

Headed for a day on the CI-TAY tomorrow! Finally...some time with the paper crew and the boyfffff, but won't be able to sleep that well. I'm all jacked up on cookies and frosted flakes...(!)

new begining

I swear, I "change" at least once a week....new styles, new trends, so many new things to try! (One of them, fyi, is the ahhhhazingly incredible combination of caramel popcorn and breakfast cereal....seriously...how have I been living without that necessary burst of raw sugar and toffee for so long?) I've been stocking up...my dentist bill will suuuuck. But so worth it!

A new quarter at the universidad has begun....a new set of classes and a change of scenery. The campus was decently pretty in the Autumn-ish light...now, it's grey-gray-grey. Ick.

I'm craving colour, pattern, and florals right here- right now. I need them to get thru the dark days. I found some of my Aunt's craaazy shoulder-padded shirt dresses and oversize knit sweaters from my garage. Let's just say.....they WILL make a reappearance, *without shoulder pads.....:)

Gah. Back to school tomorrow.

I'm dreaming of an escape to the city; a whirlwind adventure through bustling streets, breathtaking skyscrapers, boundless creativity, and friggin' coffee.   Seriously.  I need to window shop with an americano in my hand and sunnies slung low.
